It all started after the initial project where we developed our hand knitting yarn, we knew instantly that we could develop a weaving yarn in the same beautiful fibre.

Here we have our first double cloth fabric woven in our 100% Welsh Cambrian Wool.

Unlike traditional Welsh blanket fabrics, which are generally quite heavy, our blanket material is soft and light weight, making it perfect for snuggling up or draping over shoulders.

Our fabric was designed in-house and is our contemporary take on a Welsh Blanket design.

We would have loved our fabric to have been woven in Wales, but unfortunately there is nowhere in Wales currently that commission weaves. So we went for the next best thing and had our blanket woven in Scotland.

Our scarf is of traditional Welsh Double Cloth construction.

We will be launching our blankets at Crafts Festival Wales on the weekend of 6th to 8th of September 2024 held in Cardigan, West Wales. This will be the official date of availability, therefore we won’t be releasing the blankets or scarves in person or by post before this date. However, in putting down your deposit you can be sure that your blanket and/or scarf officially has your name on it!
