Suzi Likes - blogpost #1
Here I go…. always scared of the commitment to a blog, but actually it now feels the right time to do it.
So I have shown up here, and maybe it will last and maybe it won’t. Maybe no-one will read it and maybe a few of you will. I have called it “Suzi Likes” because that title came up in conversation this week when I was talking to my wonderful bookkeeper, who listens to me droning on and on… haha.
I have a newsletter but I only send out one about every quarter and sometimes there is more ‘in between’ news to tell you. Only a bit of news that maybe doesn’t warrant a whole newsletter?
So today’s news is to tell you that I have a new dyelot of stock coming in. Hopefully by the weekend, but we’ll see.
If you’ve been waiting for new colours then now’s the time to put in your order.
There is a pre-order button and I will send out your order as soon as the stock arrives. Should be by this weekend. I am going to be a busy bee packing and posting orders.
Below is an example of one of the new colours coming in, that hasn’t been available for a while…. the delicious Gwymon.
A rich mossy green 100% wool knitting yarn from sheep farmed on the Cambrian Mountains.
Gwymon is the Welsh word for seaweed. As the mountains sweep down to the sea, seaweeds wash with the tide, home to sealife and sustaining the people of the area as laverbread. Best enjoyed with sea food or on hot buttered toast!
